Rolling Hills and Red Shores
Time: 4-5 hrs (approximately), 76.0 km. To truly appreciate the uniqueness of the South Shore, you need to get off the main highway and drive down our back roads. This is where you'll experience the true heart and soul of the South Shore. Featuring stunning sandstone cliffs, the Island's highest hills,
warm red sand tidal beaches and awe-inspiring unspoiled scenery.

History & Heritage
Time: 4 hours (approximately). This excursion follows the South Shore's scenic coastal route and leading to many of the region's unique heritage sites. This 74 km drive winds through the heart of the Island's South Shore where the gentle hills afford breathtaking views of the Northumberland Strait and the famous red sand cliffs.
The following drive can be picked up at several points, but is described from Rocky Point.

Really Big Bridge!
Only in the South Shore! 7 Best Views of Confederation Bridge!
Overlooking the full expanse of the Northumberland Straight, PEI's Confederation Bridge brings you to the green fields and red roads of the island. Built in 1997 its graceful arch, those trademark cement pilings, stand sentinel across the clean breezy water. It has become one of PEI's most known icons. Most people are surprised to learn it is the longest bridge in the world over water that freezes which posed unique engineering challenges.
